Ubiqutious Chip
The team at Lairds completed installing the music system into the vibrant West-End restaurant, Ubiquitous Chip.
Ubiquitous Chip is one of the longest serving restaurants in Glasgow today. Ubiquitous Chip has been the place to visit for wine, whiskey and excellence in Scottish cuisine, in a fantastic setting, on Ashton Lane in Glasgow’s West End since 1971. Consequently, with two AA Rosettes and high praise from critics and customers alike, it was exciting working with them.
Rowing Club
What we installed in the Rowing Club is a projector and screen set-up for multiple purposes. The set-up can easily display footage or racing and/or training for easier analysis and improvement. The set-up can help develop strategies for racing better. Or it can even be used to for rest and relaxation if you wanted a high quality image for viewing a movie or streaming live sports.
This set-up also included Sonance Mariner 54 Speakers and a Yamaha amplifier. To top it all off we ran it on a Wyrestorm Network to ensure smooth running
Spanish Butcher
Commercial AV installations like this are a welcome challenge. on this occasion we were called in not even a week before the soft opening to this stunning establishment run by Rusk & Rusk. We found ourselves climbing scaffolding whilst the resin floor was being pored.
As we were tasked to make sure the Spanish Butcher AV installation was subtle we ensured our substantial audio system ensured the vibe of the restaurant, no matter the clientele. From midnight starts, to the final push Lairds ensured that the Rusk ethos was fully intact.

We were asked if we can upgrade the restaurant AV At Hutcheson’s. One of Glasgow’s premier dining and nightclub venues.
The sublime, The class, The task?
In the Glasgow Icon we were asked to upgrade the audio system in the restaurant AV at Hutcheson’s and the 158 club to bring the somewhat dated audio system bang up to date and give it a bit of oomph!!
Our task from Rusk & Rusk was to make sure the audio had personality.
They had an atmosphere and image to maintain!

VR Gaming System & Entertainment Space
This project began when our client got in touch with us to request that we come and have a look at an area of his home that he felt was being under-utilized. In his small kitchen/diner space, our client wanted to install a state-of-the-art VR Gaming System and Entertainment Zone.
Projector Installation
A small scale project that really demonstrates the many details that need to be considered for every job. This projector installation came with a Projector and Projection Screen with a surround sound speaker set-up. This created an immersive and high quality audio visual display that would be the staple source of entertainment for our client.Entertainment Zone.

Within days of his arrival, Taylor had totally dismantled, cleaned and reassembled Mark’s broken Bat-Computer, and had it up and running again. Needless to say, this impressed all of us at Lairds and since then Taylor has asserted himself as our resident IT specialist with his skill and efficiency.
